Connelly took one of the most advanced skis on the market and doubled down. The Carbon V is made in the U.S.A. and they added Versatail to customize your ride. This ski utilizes their latest slalom geometries, core technology, fiber blends, along with drag reducing designs like V-Tech to create a ski that out performs all other mid-range skis. Skelecore, their advanced core shaping process, reduces the overall mass of the core allowing the fibers of the ski to flex quicker and more naturally. The 50/50 carbon/glass blend is light and responsive for peak course performance but can absorb chatter when shooting across the wake.
C.A.P.T. (Connelly Advanced Profile Technology)
When you attach a solid metal base plate to a ski that is designed to flex, you are limiting those properties before even getting in the water. Our Free Flex Connection has eradicated that restriction by using a Dual Plate design and Exolast support system. The seamless outer shell and removable liner are cinched around your foot using upper and lower laces that pull your foot back into the ergonomically shaped heel pocket. This creates the most efficient connection between you and your ski.

SYNC CONSTRUCTION:
DUAL LACE EYELET
A tooth for your lace to go through or quickly wrap around.
AUTO SIZING TONGUE
A deeper stitch point in our liner that adapts to a wide variety of foot shapes.
ACHILLES PAD
We invented Achilles pads for increased fit and comfort around the ankle. These fill the space under your ankles and up the back of your leg for more response and less heel lift.
CUSH LINER
Our dual durometer EVA Cush Liners are firm in key areas for support and longevity and soft around pressure points for lasting comfort.
HEEL POCKET
The ergonomic heel pocket cups more of your heel bone, drastically reducing lift. Less heel movement means more response to your ski.
EXOLAST SUPPORT
Our Exolast frame is the key connection between the upper boot and the Dual Plate system. It supplies support, transfers power to the plates, and allows the whole system to flex with your ski.
FREE FLEX DUAL PLATES
Single metal baseplates create a dead spot, limiting the intended flex pattern of the ski. The Sync Dual Plate is designed to allow your ski to move the way it’s supposed to.
SEAMLESS SHELL
Seamless construction reduces the number of stitched connections in the upper boot, allowing more energy transfer to the ski.
SYNC
FREE FLEX CONNECTION
Wide mounting points transfer energy more efficiently, reducing the amount of torque needed to turn your ski on edge. The Sync boot moves power from your foot through the flared base of the Exolast and into the Dual Plate system.
FREE FLEX SYSTEM
The Free Flex plate system does not reduce the natural flex of the ski.
SYNC RTP
The most technically advanced slalom binding on the market is available with an equally awesome rear toe plate. A floating toe feature cinches down to secure your foot into the ergonomically shaped footbed, and the lace adjustment allows you to dial the fit to your liking. This is the perfect blend of freedom, comfort and support for high-end skiers.
